The complete blank examiner report is retained with problem 10; its star list includes Arcturus, Fomalhaut, α Centauri, Sirius, Vega, Deneb, Procyon, Antares, Altair and Spica. No answers or observations are inferred.

Условие

You have been given a 125-mm Newtonian reflecting telescope, focal length F=1025F=1025 mm, on an azimuth mount with a set of 3 eye pieces. The focal lengths of the eyepieces are: 12 mm, 25 mm and 38 mm.

The target for you depends on group:

(α): Pleiades – Плеяды

(β): Albireo (binary) – Альбирео (двойная)

Choose suitable eyepiece, bring the target to the centre of the field of view of the telescope and show it to the examiner.
