Условие

Draw a labeled street transect. Complete the following tasks in the field: (1 hour maximum). Buses will be waiting at the corner of Aliwal and West Street. Location: From the corner of West and Grey Street to the corner of West and Aliwal Street (south facing buildings only).

• Construct a labeled transect of ground floor land-use activities along the West Street.

• 'Step out' the distance between different buildings to get a reasonably accurate measurement.

• Label the different land uses and distinguish between different kinds of activities, for example, a garage selling petrol and other goods, a café, a bookshop, etc.

• Indicate on the map where informal sellers are situated.
