10. Estimate the minimum energy a proton would need to penetrate the Earth's magnetosphere.

Assume that the initial penetration is perpendicular to a belt of constant magnetic field 30 $\mu$T and thickness 1.0 x $10^4$ km. Prepare the sketch of the particle trajectory. (Note that at such high energies the momentum can be replaced by the expression $E/c$. Ignore any radiative effects).
