IOAA 2015, Наблюдения, с невъоръжено око — Задача 1. Naked Eye

OBSERVATIONAL QUESTIONS — Naked Eye

Внимание: Бележка към темата

The six numbered tasks share one answer chart and are preserved as one complete observing exercise. The printed task points total 100, but no overall total is printed. The 60-minute duration in the general instructions is shared by naked-eye and small-telescope observations. The Messier table prints M20 twice with different data, and the answer maps print Nova Sagitarii; both are retained. The official key numbers the five brightest stellar positions but supplies no explicit list of their names. For part 6 it gives angular tolerances only, without a numerical Nunki–Shaula separation.

Условие

Naked Eye

1. (10 т.)

In the blank square given in the answer sheet, you should assume that Nova Sagittarii 2 is in the center. (marked by green star)

RA(J2000) : 18h 36m 56.84s

Dec(J2000) : -28∘^{\circ} 55’ 39.8”

Draw Declination and Right Ascension lines passing through Nova Sagittarii. Also draw parallel gridlines at convenient interval and label the accordingly. (The field of view is 45∘^{\circ})

2. (25 т.)

Mark with filled circle, the five brightest stars in the field of view on the answer sheet along with their names. You can add several other stars for your orientation.

3. (10 т.)

Draw an unfilled circle representing the Moon’s position tomorrow night (on 29 July 2015).

4. (25 т.)

Mark the position of any five Messier Objects in the field of view by cross (x), and write down their names beside their marks.

5. (10 т.)

Draw a line representing the galactic plane.

6. (20 т.)

Mark the positions of Nunki (σ\sigma Sgr) and Shaula (λ\lambda Sco) by star (*). Draw a line connecting the two stars. Estimate the angular distance between these stars and write it on the line connecting both stars.
