Условие
We have received a message from Extraterrestrial Intelligence. Please decode it. The message is:
10001100010011001001001001100111100100110010010010011001001000110

Решение
There are 65 signs in the message. Having presented it as the table (the alternative versions are not possible), we receive two possible solutions:
5 columns, 13 lines
10001 10001 00110 01001 00100 11001 11100 10011 00100 10010 01100 10010 00110
13 columns, 5 lines
1000110001001 1001001001001 1001111001001 1001001001001 1001001000110
After replacement of units on signs, and zero on gaps, the second version yields the quite understandable message:

“International Astronomical Union” or “1 astronomical unit”.
