Бележки от източника
The supplied key refers to a drawing for problem 2 but contains none. The requested polar-bear illustration for problem 4 is also absent.
Условие
In the attached table you will find the following data about the comet C/2002 O4 (Hoenig): orbital elements and ephemeris (date, right ascension, declination, distance to Earth, distance to Sun, elongation, phase and stellar magnitude). Calculate the speed of the comet at perihelion using the given data. Note: the orbital speed of Earth is km/s.

Решение
One can find from the first part of the table that the eccentricity of the orbit is . It is very near to a parabolic orbit. I.e. speed of the comet in perihelion is about of the circular speed with the same distance from Sun.
Than one can find from the ephemeris that the distance Sun–Comet in perihelion is a.u. (02.10.2002.). Using the III Kepler law () one can find that for the circular speed
and so:
I.e.
where km/s is the circular speed of Earth.
